Summer Time is Burger and Beer Time!

We were so happy with how the #BurgersOfTheDay turned out that we decided for the summer to offer all the burgers all day, every day. I know what you're thinking, a Mexican joint, doing burgers? We've added our 1511 twist to every one of these burgers. Some are topped with our signature Al Pastor Pork or our Barbacoa. We've got an amazing black bean burger as well as my personal favorite, El Diablo, complete with ghost pepper cheese. And every one is served with our Cantina fries and Chimmichurri aioli. Yum!

We've also added some great North Carolina beers to the list like Sugar Creek Pale Ale, and Catawba White Zombie. We still have the favorites, and back by popular demand at our Stonecrest location, we have the @BirdsongBrewing Jalapeno Pale Ale.

And it's just in time for #FathersDay too!

Here at Cantina 1511 we love trying new things. When we added burgers to the menu we received some great feedback, and some not so great feedback. At the time, we only had 3 burgers; the Knife and Fork Burger, the Chipotle Burger, and the Avocado Bacon Burger. We still have two of those, and we've recently added a Black and Blue Burger as well as the Burger of the Day.

We love the idea of a burger of the day. Burgers are one of those great lunch items that always satisfy. The Tuesday burger of the Day is the Black Bean Burger. After many weeks of testing and playing with the recipe, we finally were able to create the perfect Black Bean Burger. We've all had that one Black Bean Burger that either fell apart when you try to pick it up, or the one that was dry as a bone. Not this one. 

Our signature Black Bean Burger is topped with pico de gallo, romaine lettuce, and slathered with our house made Chipotle Ranch dressing and then finished with fresh slices of avocado.
